"Spiritual Power can be seen in a person's reverence for life -- hers and all others, including animals and nature, with a recognition of a universal life force referred to by many as God." -- Virginia Satir
I just read this quote and liked it so much I just wanted to share it! I was reminded that the more I look for Spirit everywhere, the more I will see it.

I know it's been days since my last post -- I'm in the middle of some major life changes and just haven't been able to sit myself down and focus. I had a profound awareness of something today, however, and felt compelled to share it.

For those of you who may have missed The EmpowerHour last night, guest Mike Robbins shared great insight and wisdom on the Power of Appreciation. (The archives should be up in a day or so -- be sure to take a listen.)
One of the definitions of the word appreciate (granted it's the 6th one) is to raise in value and that says to me, that the more we live from an attitude of appreciation, not only will we see more value in our lives but maybe more importantly, we will see greater value in Ourselves!

Do you have any idea where the word magic comes from? Would you believe that the word is based on the Greek word magi, which was used to describe the priestly members of the ancient caste of Zoroaster.
Zoroaster was a religious teacher and prophet of ancient Persia (628 B.C. - 551 B.C.) and founder of the early religion Zoroastrianism (also related to Zarathustra.)
